1. From the schedule view (Home button on the left nav bar), look for any employees that don’t have any capable roles assigned (often times a gray icon color), or any employees that need to have their capable roles updated.
  2. Click on the name of the employee you would like to edit to bring open their attributes profile.

  1. Click into the Capable Roles dropdown and select the roles that the employee is capable of working.

  1. Check the role that will be used as their “Main Role”. You can also edit the proficiency of each role for the employee (although this is not currently taken into account in the autoscheduling functionality). Click Save to close.

  1. When adding shifts for that employee, those roles will then be available to select for that shift.
